Is it safe — will it hold my cat's weight?
The metal arm and clamp are rated to 22 lbs. The structure is designed to remain stable during normal cat activity including jumping on and off. We recommend clamping to a solid, flat desk edge rather than a thin or curved surface for maximum stability.

Is the cushion machine washable?
Yes — the white plush cushion lifts out of the rattan basket and is machine washable. Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and air dry or tumble dry on low.

Does the 360° rotation lock in place?
The rotation is fluid rather than click-locking — your cat can reorient the basket themselves by shifting weight or pushing off. Most cats naturally settle the basket in their preferred position. If you need a fixed orientation, the arm can be positioned before clamping and left static.

Is this suitable for large cats?
The 16" basket diameter and 22 lb weight capacity accommodate most domestic cats including larger breeds. Very large Maine Coons or Norwegian Forest Cats near or above 20 lbs may find the basket surface limiting — contact us before ordering if you have a very large breed.
